Atlas groups repeating and look-alike crashes into one issue at cosine similarity 0.85 — so you debug one failure, not a thousand tickets.
Look-alikes join an existing issue when similarity is at least 0.85. You triage one card, not a storm.
What is semantic clustering?
Semantic clustering groups crashes that mean the same engineering failure even when the wording differs. LAWDE Shield’s Atlas engine joins look-alikes when cosine similarity is at least 0.85. Below that, it opens a new issue.
Why does this matter?
A storm of the same crash should be one incident on the board. You are alerted and you diagnose per unique failure shape — not per raw line that hit the wire.
How does this show up in the product?
The Issues board shows one card per failure, with occurrence counts and last-seen time. Explore (Business+) lets you filter those issues with structured queries.
